5 Steps of the Legacy Design Build Process

Apr 27, 2016

Our design-build process takes away the stress and uncertainty involved in most home remodeling projects. As a leading full service remodeling company, we focus on delivering the highest level of customer satisfaction and workmanship in the industry. Here are the steps of our design build process so you know what to expect:

Design Builds

1. Project Analysis – After initial contact, our team will assign you a project consultant. This consultant will discuss your ideas, budget, and requirements for your kitchen or bathroom remodel in Phoenix, AZ. We want to get to know you during our up-front planning process. At this time, we’ll also discuss a Project Analysis and Design Agreement and conduct the necessary research for your remodel.

2. Pre-build and Permitting Phase – As a full-service home remodeling company, we want your remodel to be as smooth as possible. That’s why we’re with you every step of the way during the permitting phase. First, we’ll flesh out the scope of the work and generate the necessary construction documents. Then we’ll begin permit approval. This can take some time, so we’ll continue to meet with you to discuss design details and to prepare your home.

3. Building – We start with a pre-construction meeting to determine the project start date. During this meeting, we’ll also set a weekly project meeting date and time. As an expert home remodeling contractor in Glendale, AZ, we believe in open and constant communication. During these regular meetings, your Project Consultant and Superintendent will discuss project progress and make sure you’re happy with how the plan is going. Throughout the building phase, we will also protect your home and clean up all dirt and debris.

4. Project Close-Out – During this phase, our team will come up with a punch-list of action items and hold a walk-through and final meeting. The punch-list contains the items that you feel we need to address before the project finishes. If there is any incomplete or unsatisfactory work, we will document it on the Project Closeout or Specialty Closeout forms. We will address these incomplete tasks within our agreed-upon timeframe.

5. Warranty – As a leading home remodeling company in Glendale, AZ, Legacy Design Build Remodeling provides one of the best warranties in the industry. We provide you with a written two-year warranty. We want to offer you peace of mind long after the project, so we go above and beyond. If you suspect a warranty issue then just give us a call. We’ll send a representative as quickly as we can and resolve the issue.

Our design build process will help you realize the home of your dreams. It helps us deliver consistent quality results and it helps us give each customer the attention and care they deserve. In fact, Ranking Arizona has recognized our high standards and has ranked us as the #1 Scottsdale remodeling company six years in the row. We’re also the 2002 Remodeler of the Year according to Professional Remodeler Magazine. Give us a call to learn more about our design-build process or to schedule a free consultation.
