The project analysis phase begins after initial contact with the potential client, when basic project information is gathered from the client. The client is then assigned to one of our Project Consultants, who will then contact the client within 24 hours to introduce himself or herself, get to know the client, and become familiar with the client's particular remodeling needs. If it appears that Legacy can help the client, a meeting is scheduled at the client’s home. During the meeting, the client and the PC get to know one another and the Project Consultant learns more about the client's needs.
If both the client and the PC feel that Legacy is the right company for the project, a Project Analysis and Design (PA) agreement is discussed. At this time, the Project Consultant will explain the PA process and if the client accepts, the agreement will be signed and payment received. Once the agreement is signed, Legacy will complete a field measure of the property, take pictures, and perform any necessary research concerning the property and construction requirements.
During the PA Process, the client and Project Consultant work closely together to develop a project plan that best meets the client’s remodeling needs while adhering to his or her budgetary requirements. This process can last anywhere from a few days to several months - depending on the detail and size of the project. Once the project scope and price are finalized and approved by the client, a Building Services agreement is drafted. Once the agreement is signed and the deposit is paid, the project moves into the Pre-Build and Permitting phase.
