The Jack House was originally built in 1885, near what is now Grand Avenue and Camelback Road. In 1975, the house found itself in the path of the Santa Fe Railroad and was slated for demolition. Instead, it was moved to Pioneer Arizona and now depicts life in 1912, the year Arizona became the 48th state.
This valuable piece of Arizona's history is in major disrepair and in need of renovation. With the help of our most valued trades, Legacy is undertaking the huge task of restoring this house to its original 19th century form. Preliminary plans are underway and the project will be complete in time for Arizona's Centennial Celebration in 2012, then enjoyed by generations to come.

Many Legacy employees enjoy donating their time and expertise to Habitat for Humanity. Here are a few pictures of our employees in action.
